Dear friends,
When we created our Patreon page back in October, we set up a series of Goals: things we committed to do when we reached certain milestones of engagement with our patron community. We were so excited when we reached our first goal of 50 Patreon supporters within a few months, and in celebration, we released the track and video of Bayside Lament Deconstructed in January.
A few months later, our community had grown to about 75 patrons. When the COVID lockdown started (thankfully, just AFTER we had finished our tour in the UK and France!), we managed to squeeze in a livestream concert in March before returning to our respective homes for quarantine. During that concert, our Patreon community more than doubled, from 75 to 185 patrons by the end of the evening! We have not had the opportunity to fulfill our 100 Patron Goal, which is a livestream concert for Patrons only (we were so ahead of the times, no?!) but fear not: it is on our radar. We are hoping to get together with each other in late July, so stay tuned!
HOWEVER, we are here today to talk about meeting yet another of our community-building goals: we have surpassed 200 patrons, and our reward to you for helping us reach that milestone is to create a music video of a song chosen by you, our Patreon community.
